Robyn Cohen Hudson is a native of Washington, DC. She earned a BA in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia. She also earned a MBA in Finance from the Kogod School of Business at American University. Robyn is the owner of Cohen Hudson Financial Services, LLC, a daily money management practice that provides personal and small business financial assistance and financial education to clients who have difficulty with, or lack the time needed for, daily financial affairs. Her clients include busy professionals, frequent travelers, active retirees, adult children managing an aging parent’s affairs, small business owners and personal representatives/executors.
Robyn has spent over twenty years in various capacities in the financial services industry. She served as President/CEO of the District Government Employees Federal Credit Union and has also held positions as a budget analyst, a consultant, an auditor and most recently as a mortgage banker.
Robyn has actively involved her children in the arts from a very young age. For the past two summers, they have participated in the WPAS Summer Steps with Step Afrika! program. The program has helped them to develop leadership skills, build confidence, express themselves creatively and have fun!
The Friends of Step Afrika! committee is a way for her to help raise awareness about the wonderful things Step Afrika! is doing and the difference they are making in the community and the world.
Robyn is an active member of the Junior League of Washington and the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also serves as Treasurer of her sons’ Boy Scout Troop 24 and Assistant Treasurer for their summer swim team. She currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband of sixteen years and their two middle school aged sons.
